JOB TITLE: Mental Health Program Assistant

DEPARTMENT: HHS-Behavior

SUPERVISOR: Program Manager – Mental Health

SALARY: $22.63 – 29.42

JOB SUMMARY

Ensures the efficient and effective operations of the clinic’s front office and lobby. Operates multi-line telephone system to answer incoming calls and greets visitors; creates a welcoming environment and directs callers, clients, and visitors.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Opens and closes clinic according to established policies, procedures, and protocols.
  • Maintains accurate client information in system; updates benefits, address, or other demographics.
  • Maintains phone system, fax machines, and other office equipment calling on repairs as needed.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Valid driver’s license is required when driving vehicles for work-related purposes.
  • Experience working within American Indian and/or Alaska Native communities preferred.
  • Skill in interpersonal communication.

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS

  • High School Diploma/GED.
  • Three years’ related experience.
  • Obtain and maintain BLS/CPR and AED certifications.
