JOB SUMMARY
Assesses & counsels clients on substance abuse disorders including co-occurring mental health & substance abuse issues; provides evaluation, diagnostic, counseling therapy & crisis intervention to individuals, couples, & families.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Adheres to established DSM guidelines and ASAM protocols.
  • Evaluates the effectiveness of treatment programs; monitors client progress.
  • Manages client caseload; works with insurance agencies as required; communicates authorizations.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
  • Associate degree in psychology, Social Work, or closely related field.
  • Licensed Substance Use Disorder Professional (SUDP) in Washington State required.
  • Experience working within American Indian and/or Alaska Native communities preferred.
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS
  • Pre-employment drug screen.
  • Has not been found guilty of, charged with or entered a plea of guilty to any felony or misdemeanor
  • Reference checks, education and employment verification.
  • Bachelor\’s Degree preferred.
