JOB SUMMARY
The Human Resources Manager must proactively manage and integrate; HRIS, Open Enrollment, Benefit Administration, Employee Relations, Staffing, Compensation, and update the HR Policy & Procedure Manual.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversees the entire recruitment process ensuring that appropriate selection criteria are established and consistent
- Reviews background checks, DMV records and periodically verifies credentialing for health workers
- Advises management and employees on the interpretation of HR policies, programs, procedures
- Organizes and implements organization-wide training programs
- Takes the lead in designating and determining leaves of absence for employees in a timely manner
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor\’s Degree or comparable experience
- Five (5) or more year\’s progressively responsible human resources experiences, or an equivalent
- One year of experience in the recruitment of healthcare professionals
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor\’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Psychology, or other related field
- PHRca certification or SHRM California Law HR Specialty Credential
- Knowledge of Indian Self-Determination and Education Assistance Act (Public Law 93-638)
