JOB SUMMARY

The Human Resources Manager must proactively manage and integrate; HRIS, Open Enrollment, Benefit Administration, Employee Relations, Staffing, Compensation, and update the HR Policy & Procedure Manual.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversees the entire recruitment process ensuring that appropriate selection criteria are established and consistent
  • Reviews background checks, DMV records and periodically verifies credentialing for health workers
  • Advises management and employees on the interpretation of HR policies, programs, procedures
  • Organizes and implements organization-wide training programs
  • Takes the lead in designating and determining leaves of absence for employees in a timely manner

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor\’s Degree or comparable experience
  • Five (5) or more year\’s progressively responsible human resources experiences, or an equivalent
  • One year of experience in the recruitment of healthcare professionals

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor\’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Psychology, or other related field
  • PHRca certification or SHRM California Law HR Specialty Credential
  • Knowledge of Indian Self-Determination and Education Assistance Act (Public Law 93-638)
