JOB TITLE:  CDFI Project Director

DEPARTMENT:  Administration

SUPERVISOR:  Tribal Administrator

SALARY:  Negotiable, DOE

JOB SUMMARY

The Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) Project Director is responsible for generating economic growth and opportunities through the creation of a Native CDFI for the Alabama-Coushatta Tribe of Texas.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provides strategic planning for the development and implementation of the Native CDFI project activities
  • Research and identify appropriate industry best practices of successful CDFI funds
  • Conducts monthly review with Grant and Compliance Director officer and Administration to ensure accountability of all project objectives
  • Develop and implement an economic strategy for the sustainability of the Native CDFI
  • Develop and implement a plan of institutionalizing the practices of the Native CDFI fund

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Documentable experience designing, implementing, managing and evaluating high level, fast paced projects
  • Proven evidence of analytical skills in the development of technical financial business plans
  • Project Management Professional certification preferred or then (10) years\’ project management experience

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS

  • MBA, Master of Finance or Accounting from an accredited university
  • Five (5) years experience at a financial institution dedicated to servicing disadvantaged communities or
  • Bacherlors Degree in Finance or Accounting with ten (10) plus years at a financial institution dedicated to servicing disadvantaged communities
