A Special Thank You Message from
NNAHRA President Judith Wright

28th Annual NNAHRA Conference

28th Annual Conference Keynote Speaker

Join us for an unforgettable event packed with insightful discussions, networking opportunities, and inspiring sessions. This is one event you don’t want to miss!

Mo Brings Plenty, an enrolled member of the Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe of South Dakota, brings a rich heritage and profound perspective to our conference. His traditional Lakota name, Ta’Sunke Wospapi (“Catches His Horse”), reflects a lineage of resilience and strength. Mo’s grandfathers fought at the Battle of Little Big Horn, instilling in him a deep awareness of his family’s sacrifices and guiding his actions today.

As an actor, Mo captivates audiences in his role as “Mo Brings Plenty,” Chief Thomas Rainwater’s enforcer on the Taylor Sheridan/Paramount series Yellowstone. He’s also featured as “Shep Wauneka” in Jurassic World Dominion (2022) and as “Ottawa Jones” in Showtime’s limited series The Good Lord Bird (2021).

Beyond acting, Mo is a visionary co-founder of Tribal Nations Health, a pioneering provider of transparent healthcare plans for Tribal citizens and employees. His mission to restore health and healing in Indian Country is driven by a profound respect for his ancestors and a commitment to his people. As Mo wisely states, “There is no word in traditional languages for survival, only Living.”

Mo Brings Plenty is more than an actor; he’s a businessman, horse stunt rider, rancher, and American Indian storyline consultant. Above all, he’s a man dedicated to human kindness and the enduring good in humanity. He believes in our collective responsibility to honor the past and ensure a livable planet for future generations.

Don’t miss the chance to hear from this extraordinary individual at #NNAHRA2024. Secure your spot today!

Tal D. Moore

We are deeply saddened by the passing of our beloved colleague and friend, Tal D. Moore, on April 15, 2025.

As the former director of development for the NNAHRA Foundation, Tal was more than a professional; he was a guiding light, a mentor, and a cherished member of our NNAHRA family.

For over 30 years, Tal dedicated his life and career to organizational development and human resources, with a profound commitment to Indigenous Country. His experience supporting Tribal enterprises spanned healthcare, hospitality, government, education, and nonprofits. Whether through his work at the Falmouth Institute, REDW, or as a leader within tribal organizations such as the Kalispel Tribe, Navajo Nation’s Fort Defiance Indian Hospital, and Sandia Pueblo, Tal always focused on helping others grow. His leadership as a former president for NNAHRA’s Association and the NNAHRA Foundation helped expand education and training opportunities for our human resources professionals and tribal leaders.

Tal’s greatest legacy was his family, which includes his husband, Darin, and his son, Sean, which he held close to his heart. His legacy continued through his work and the number of lives he touched. He inspired emerging leaders, empowered professionals, and lit up every room he entered with his knowledge, kindness, and ever-present smile. He believed in people and made them believe in themselves.

He was a proud Isleta Pueblo descendant who honored tradition, community, and learning. Even in his emails, he reminded us to keep joy at the center of our work — always signing off his signature with, “Cheers!”

We will continue to celebrate his life, his legacy, and the countless ways he shaped our organization and Tribal Country. Tal, thank you for inspiring so many. You will forever be a part of our NNAHRA family.
