JOB SUMMARY

The Operations Accountant will be responsible for settling one or more gathering assets and assisting other senior accountants with their plant assets in a timely and accurate manner and in accordance with company policies.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Obtains information from internal and external sources to record accounting transactions in the accounting systems.
  • Ensures transactions are recorded, documented, reviewed and supported

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree required, major in accounting preferred.

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS

  • 0-3 years of work experience as a degreed professional
  • 0-3 years of oil and gas industry experience
  • Experience with SAP accounting software
  • Basic understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
